Springpad iOS Apps updated to include Notebooks and Tags (v2.0)
Our latest update to the iPhone and iPad apps is now available in the iTunes App Store. To accompany our newest set of features, it includes the introduction of notebooks, availability of tags, and a bunch of other usability improvements.

New Home Screen
This is your new launching point into My Stuff, Friends Stuff and your Notebooks. Personalize your home screen with a custom theme – login to Springpadit.com to choose your home screen theme and it will sync to your iOS device.
Introducing Notebooks!
We are giving you one clear way to organize your stuff. Notebooks are great for special projects or just for separating your work stuff from your home stuff. And, you can personalize your notebooks with different colored headings. Read more about notebooks. You’ll see that all of your Lists are now called Notebooks.
Visual Organization of Your Stuff with the Board (iPad only)
Do you sometimes just need to spread things out on a table just to get your head around a project? Now you can do just that with your stuff in Springpad. In the iPad app, each notebook has a section call the Board, where you can layout any of the items from the notebook however you like. The board is great for event planning, meal planning and mapping out your day. Check out some other great uses of the board.
Introduction of Tags
Now you can tag anything you add to Springpad, and see those tags on the web or on your mobile device. To filter you stuff by tag, open My Stuff or a notebook, and just tap the heading – you’ll then be able to view your stuff by type or by tag.
Bug Fixes Included:
Keyboard issues when entering checklists: Now when entering checklists, you should no longer have an issue with a disappearing keyboard.
Creating new notes when offline: We’ve fixed the issue that prevented you from seeing the new items you had just typed in.
And Lots of Others Goodies, too…
Edit Attached Notes: You asked for it! Now just tap on a note that you’ve attached to edit it.
Recipe Search: Now add recipes from the web right from Springpad. Use look it up to search for the most popular recipes on the web and save them directly to Springpad.
New TV Show note type: Another popular user request! Save TV shows that you want to remember to Springpad.

I am new to Springpad.. I have an Ipad, but I am not experienced with technology. I am 71 years old… can you help me learn to use Springpad? I have the app, but I have never used it. Thank you.
Great work Springpad!
With this version’s update to Springpad, I have lost the ability to sort my Shopping Lists by Name on my iPhone, however. (It defaults to sorting by when the list was added.) This feature used to be there and I have it on the web app. Am I missing something on how to do this now?
