Use Springpad’s Send to Phone to Read Bookmarks on the Go

Springpad is a great way to capture things you want to remember, including bookmarks you want to read later. We hear from lots of our users that they like to have a folder called ‘Read Later’ to save those bookmarks. But if you’re having trouble remembering to actually check that folder every night, try using the Springpad ‘Send to Phone’ feature!

Here’s how…

When you’re surfing the web & come across a great article that you want to remember to read later, use the Springpad Browser extension (for Firefox or Chrome) to clip the article.

Then, right from the extension, hit ‘Send to Phone’ to receive a push notification on all of your Springpad-enabled devices (learn more about how to control where you receive Springpad notifications).

Later that night, pick up your iPad or Android tablet, where you’ll have received a push notification from Springpad.  The notification will open up the bookmark you created with a link to the original source.

Sure, any bookmark you save to Springpad on the web will automatically sync to your mobile device, but push notifications serve as a great reminder to actually read the article you’ve saved!
