    I just tried to install the clipper to my iphone – twice – followed the instructions exactly and see the bookmark in my list.

    However, when I try to “clip” it does…nothing. I was on a webpage, pushed the open book bookmark icon, selected Springpad Clipper. It goes back to the website I was on — and then I checked my app and there is nothing new in there.

    What am I doing wrong? I love SP and am excited to use the clipper – please advise. Thanks!!!

      Alexandra – Can you tell us what page you were on when you tried it? Also can you try it on a product page at amazon.com & let us know if that’s working for you?

    Trying to add clipper to an ipad. When i get to the part where you are trying to add the address in the clipboard it loads the last one there not the clipper address you said would be on the clipboard.

    I followed instructions to the letter and like the other respondents it didn’t work. I think the problem could be all the %7 stuff that ends up in the URL – please advise. This would be the perfect feature for me

    javascript:(function()%7BSP_HOST=’http://springpadit.com’;try%7Bvar%20x=document.createElement(‘SCRIPT’);x.type=’text/javascript’;x.src=SP_HOST+’/public/clipper.js?’+(new%20Date().getTime()/100000);document.getElementsByTagName(‘head’)%5B0%5D.appendChild(x);%7Dcatch(e)%7Blocation.href=SP_HOST+’/clip.action?url=’+encodeURIComponent(location.href)+’&title=’+encodeURIComponent(document.title);%7D%7D)();

    A breakthrough – some sites (e.g. Amazon) working but the one I currently want to record doesn’t – http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.207-8817.aspx

    Thanks for this tool!

    But it seems the clippers saves only bookmark to the page, while I would like to save the whole page content in the note. Is there a way to do it?

    this doesnt work anymore.. this page itself directs us to the new and improved v3.0, but in there, i find no instructions for installing the web clipper for use in an ipad. that makes this app pretty useless.

  7. Installed clipper on ipad . When I clip a recipe I only get a bookmark so I must refer back to the original source if I want to see the recipe. Unlike Evernote that copies the entire recipe without having to refer back to the original website. Is there something I am doing wrong? I have tried to highlight, but still did not work.

    Every time I go to clip something I have to log in again. What is going on?
