Springpad will no longer support IE8

This week, we’re releasing an update to the Springpad web app that includes removing support for IE8. It’s nothing personal, we promise! We just found that IE8 lacks a lot of features that Springpad takes advantage of, and we were devoting more time supporting this browser than it’s being used (recently, only 1-2% of our users).

While we hate to disappoint even this small contingency of users, we feel our efforts are best placed in actively improving Springpad using the latest web technologies. The more time we can devote to feature development, the better for you!

Sorry, IE8 users!  We hope you can update to either the latest version of IE or a different browser, which will allow you to continue to access the Springpad web app.
