Add descriptions to your Springpad notebooks

Last week we released a bunch of updates that included a number of improvements, fixes and simplified features. As part of the new notebook layout, you can now add a description to your notebooks, which are most useful on your shared or public notebooks as a way tell others more about the things you’re saving.

To add and edit your notebook description, simply access the notebook’s settings menu by clicking the settings wheel on the the bottom left of your screen or the notebook description section of the left-side navigation bar.

Notebook descriptions can only be added via the web app.

This will bring up the settings menu where you can add some details about the contents of your notebook. While you’re at it, you can also categorize and tag your notebook. Learn more about tags and categories.

If your notebook is public, your newly added description will appear in the notebook’s header just below the title when viewed by other Springpad users.
