Today we released an update for the Springpad Android app that included a bug fix for a crash impacting Gingerbread users (Android OS 2.3.x).

Get the update now – Springpad version 4.0.6

Other fixes and improvements:

• Quicker navigation in and out of notebooks
• Immediate display of menu bar after springing something new
• Ability to re-spring something after it has been deleted
• Manually entered Places can now be edited

We’ve just released a new version of the Android app with a handful of fixes and improvements.  Get the update now.

Improvements and fixes include:

• You can now share a link to a public notebook directly from the app
• We fixed an issue with Shopping Lists in homescreen widgets
• Audio recordings are now capped at 2 hours, and you will receive a popup message when the recording stops
