Weekly meal plan – welcome to December!

I hope everyone’s Thanksgiving was great – and delicious – I know mine was! Even though December doesn’t start until Tuesday, but more of the week’s in December than it is November! Plus, I love the month of December – it’s the best of the holiday season. So this week, because I’m embracing the (near) start of winter, I’ve got a bunch of warm, delicious recipes to try!

Thanksgiving kitchen tools

The day before Thanksgiving means crowded airports, crowded supermarkets and last minute cooking. The key to successfully preparing a Thanksgiving dinner (besides, of course, quality ingredients) is the kitchen tools.

The most important on my list are:
Three-tiered oven rack
Turkey lifters
Tongs
Digital thermometer

Also on the list and very cool (but maybe not necessary) – a stuffing cage for cooking the stuffing inside of your turkey!

Because Thanksgiving’s on Thursday I’m trying recipes the rest of the week that have nothing to do with the holidays… until after Thursday, when we’ll be living off of leftovers for ages. I’m excited to try a couple new recipes, and I do love this holiday!
