Along with this week’s update to the Springpad web app, we’ve just release a new extension for the Chrome Browser. (Coming soon for Firefox)

This new extension works just like the Spring It! web clipper. It allows you to clip things that you find around the web without launching the Springpad web app – all from a tiny yellow icon to the right of your browser’s address bar.  Read more…

Use Springpad to Instantly Push Notes to Your Android Phone

Many months back, we introduced a feature called “Send to Phone” for users who access Springpad both with the Chrome browser and via the Android App. Recently, we’ve talked to a bunch of Springpad users about this feature and have learned that most of your aren’t aware of it. So, let me tell you about it…

How it works
First, you need to use Springpad on Google Chrome – either the web app or the Springpad Chrome Extension. Second, you need to have logged into your Springpad account on the Springpad Android app with a phone running Android OS 2.2+.

When viewing any note in Springpad on the web, you’ll see “Send to Phone” under quick links. Read more…

We’ve recently made some great improvements to the Springpad Chrome Extension, including Quick Add, Look It Up, Notebook support and Unicode support. And, as always, use the extension to clip the page you’re currently on.
