Springpad Downtime Planned for This Week
15th December
In the coming week, there are a few dates when we expect that a handful of Springpad users will be impacted by server maintenance activities.
We’re sorry for any inconvenience this may cause!
December 14th – Amazon (our hosting provider) performed some planned maintenance last night. Very few users were impacted.
December 15th – We plan to upgrade one of our servers today at 12:30pm (ET), lasting for less than 30 minutes. A small number of users may be unable to access Springpadit.com or sync the mobile apps during this time.

UPDATE 11/21: The downtime lasted longer than we expected. Read more about what happened & why.
Springpadit.com will be unavailable this Friday night 11/18 for approximately three hours beginning at 11pm (ET).
We will be performing for maintenance and upgrades to enhance Springpad’s speed and reliability.
While online access to Springpad will be unavailable, any data that you have already saved will be accessible via the Springpad Chrome App (in offline mode), and via the iPhone, iPad and Android apps.
All local data that has already synced to your mobile device will be available, but the following features of our mobile apps will be impacted:
– Sync with Springpadit.com will be unavailable
– Saving new items using search will not work (books, wines, movies, etc)
– Friends stuff will be unavailable
– Reminders will be delayed

Improving Task Management in Springpad
Springpad can help you remember lots of different types of things, but there seems to be one thing in particular that gets some of our users really jazzed up – Tasks! So, we’ve taken your input to make a handful of improvements, both on the web & on the iPhone.
On Springpadit.com, it’s now easier to enter, categorize & view your tasks.
