We’re pleased to introduce a new set of features that help you access the right information at the right time, focused on making the things you save in Springpad work for you! From mobile alerts to the launch of the Springpad Chrome Extension, you can rest assured that the information you need in Springpad will always be accessible when you need it.

We’ve just released Springpad 1.2 to the Android Market, including a new Alerts section, Reminders and much more.

We’ve always been proud of how useful Springpad is for saving and organizing recipes and now, with the addition of our mobile apps, there are far more ways to use Springpad in the kitchen!

When you come across a recipe on your favorite website or food blog, just Spring It! Once the Springpad Clipper is installed in your browser’s bookmark bar, you can save recipe with one click – we’ll even grab the ingredients, provide a link back to the original recipe and allow you to add photos from the site.

With our most recent release to the Android Market (version 1.1), Springpad now supports Android Widgets!

We are excited to introduce our first Android widget – the Quick Add Widget.

You can now download all of Springpad’s mobile apps on GetJar, the world’s largest cross-platform app store.

To find the Springpad app on your mobile device:

Go to the mobile version of GetJar (http://m.getjar.com). The site automatically recognizes what device you are using and only offers you apps that are available for your phone and OS.
Search GetJar for Springpad.  Or, you can find us in the ‘Productivity’ category.  Our web listing can be seen here.

For users that cannot access the Android Market, you can use GetJar to download the Springpad Android app.

As Jason mentioned, we’re thrilled by the response to the Springpad Android app launch! You’ve kept us on our toes with some great feedback and fantastic assistance in trouble-shooting.
