Save Notes from Google+ Directly to Springpad
1st August
If you come across a post on Google+ that you’d like to save to Springpad, you can save it to Springpad with just a click or two.
How to set it up:
First, log in to Springpadit.com and find your custom email-in address. You’ll find it under Settings/Services, listed as your personal email address. Copy this email address.
Then, open Google+ and go to your Circles.
Drag your mouse over the new blank circle at the top of the list, then click to create a new circle called “Save to Springpad” (or something else similar).
Click “Add a new person” and paste in the email address you found in the first step. You’ll need to give it a name (like “Personal Springpad Email”) to save it.
John uses Springpad to share & save his artwork
With the many capabilities Springpad has, we have seen the system used in very different and creative ways. One user that caught our eye, John Radebaugh, started using Springpad to create an easily shareable digital collection of his artwork.
Share the things you save to Springpad
“What’s the address of the tailor you use? Can you send me that salad recipe you always make? Do you have a suggestion for a good date-night restaurant?”
How often do your friends ask you questions like these? Next time, instead of typing up the info from scratch or scouring your email for a link, let Springpad help you out! If you’re already using Springpad to help you remember, then try one of these two simple ways to share the things you’ve saved:
1. Send a specific item via Twitter, Facebook or Email
When viewing something in your Springpad, you’ll see a Share button at the top of the page that will allow you to share your item.

BlogHer 2009: Helping Communities Build Networks for Sharing Ideas & Advice
At BlogHer ’09, we’ll be hosting a contest to encourage new users to sign up for springpad and invite their “Go-To Girls” to join, too! The contest is in conjunction with four of our favorite bloggers: @deliciousbaby, @momisodes, @mommyniri and @paninihappy and supported by our featured product sponsor: Magic Beans.
A Go-To Girl (or Guy) is that person you turn to when you need advice. Need an idea for a recipe for an upcoming party? Need to find out the hottest new restaurant? Need to pick out a birthday present for your nephew? The people you turn to for answers to these burning questions are your Go-To network. Using springpad makes it easy for you to connect with your network, which is likely spread across the internet, to share ideas & advice!
