Pete recently got in touch with us to share a cool tip – In conjunction with Vlingo, he is able to save tasks and events directly to Springpad using only his voice through Springpad’s email in feature. Pretty cool!
Pete has been using Springpad for more than a year and a half. He uses the Springpad Chrome app, Chrome extension and the mobile apps for multiple devices. Pete also shares one account with his wife and his son to help organize household activities.
(Note: more sophisticated collaboration features are on their way!)
I absolutely love all the options in Springpad. I use it for all of my tasks, appointments, notes, reminders, and all my personal management items. All my events automatically sync to my Google calendar. With Vlingo, I am now able to insert tasks and events using only my voice and have them …

Springpad RSS feeds are a great way to view your Springpad data outside of the app, with tools like Google Reader and Feedly. But RSS feeds can also be used to display some of your things publicly for others to see.
Combining Springpad RSS feeds with website widgets you can create a useful and auto-updating feed of the things you’re saving in Springpad, for use in a blog or personal website.

Use Springpad’s Send to Phone to Read Bookmarks on the Go
13th July
Springpad is a great way to capture things you want to remember, including bookmarks you want to read later. We hear from lots of our users that they like to have a folder called ‘Read Later’ to save those bookmarks. But if you’re having trouble remembering to actually check that folder every night, try using the Springpad ‘Send to Phone’ feature!
Here’s how…
When you’re surfing the web & come across a great article that you want to remember to read later, use the Springpad Browser extension (for Firefox or Chrome) to clip the article.
Then, right from the extension, hit ‘Send to Phone’ to receive a push notification on all of your Springpad-enabled devices (learn more about how to control where you receive Springpad notifications).
Later that night, pick up your iPad or Android tablet,

How it works:
Log in to Springpadit.com from your computer browser
Click on Settings > Services
Scroll to the bottom, and click on Create Backup
In a few moments, a backup file will be created. Download it to your computer for safe keeping.

Here’s how to set it up for Springpad:
Open Chrome, right-click on the Address bar, then select Manage Search Engines
Scroll to the bottom to add a new search engine
Enter these values:
