With the recent update to Springpad, we introduced the new smart add bar. One of the cooler features of the add bar is the ability to set a default data type that you’d like to save to each of your notebooks.

In the last few weeks since the launch of the new Springpad, we’ve continued to add improvements that make Springpad easier for you to use. Since the most recent updates from Jeff, we’ve made many more updates to all of our apps that both address bugs and also introduce new features.

Here are some of the highlights…

With the recent update to Springpad, you can now categorize the things you save at the notebook level – using both Categories and Tags.

When you are viewing one of your Springpad notebooks, you can toggle the size of the your items to give yourself a different view. 

With the latest updates to Springpad, you can now share your notebooks and their contents with your friends, family and co-workers! See it in action.

With the latest update to Springpad, anyone using Springpad can now choose to make their notebooks public!  This allows you to share and discover new ideas from the people you trust.

With the latest updates to Springpad, we are making it much simpler to add new things! The new “smart add bar” is available now on the web app, on the iPhone and iPad apps (v 3.0), and on the Android app (v 3.0).

With one simple entry box, you no longer need to decide what type of item you are trying to add to Springpad. We do the work for you!
